AVENTURA, FL
OVERVIEW
A luxury community in South Florida incorporated as the City of Aventura in 1995. It is an outlined suburban city in northeastern Miami-Dade County located 17 miles north of the city of Miami, FL, and 12 miles south of Fort Lauderdale. The city gets its name from the Spanish word Aventuras which basically means “adventure”.
HIGHLIGHTS
The most pre-eminent feature in Aventura is a mall which is known as Aventura Mall. It is a 2.4-million-square-foot world-class shopping mall that is anchored by major department stores. Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, JCPenny, and Sears. It has over 280 specialty shops, designer stores, trendy boutiques, The Equinox Fitness Club, equinox flatiron, equinox club, love island lauren, a 24-screen AMC movie theater, and infinite restaurants, coffee shops, and bistros to cover every cuisine you can envision.
The Gulfstream Park is another large shopping destination in nearby Hallandale Beach. It offers a wide variety of fashion boutiques, home accessory stores, recreation choices, dining, and cabarets. Adjacent to the Village is the magnificent Gulf Stream Park Racetrack with a winter thoroughbred racing schedule and a casino with over 850 Vegas-style slot machines and poker.
Miami-Dade County’s Public School system also supports the city and opens its very first public school in 2008. It is the Aventura Waterways K-8 Center.
It is the Founders Park, Waterways Park, the Don Soffer Excercise Trail, Waterways Dog Park, and Veterans Park that makes up this community. These parks have a tropical landscape, offering playgrounds and facilities. It is available for a variety of sports, activities, walking trails, and jogging paths.
The Aventura Arts & Cultural Center is an exciting new landmark in Aventura. This elegant, high-tech facility offers a wide range of performing arts, musicals, concerts, cultural programs, and entertainment for all ages.

The majority of the population in Aventura is Caucasian, however, there are quite a few other cultures in the city. Around 35% of those who live in the city are of Hispanic lineage with a small percentage of being African-American. There are also a few more that are from the Asian bloodline. Aside from different races, you will find that Aventura is also home to people with various backgrounds and religions. - Clean Air
A pollution-free area is where parents want to raise their kids and we know it is difficult to find such a place where the pollution is very low. Nevertheless, Aventura is one of those few places where clean air is easy to come by. The air quality index of the city is better than anywhere else in the country.
